The 28th Annual Chasco Coronation Ball will be held on April 5, 2013 at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey. The 2012 King Pithla Bob Memoli and Queen Chasco Cindy Ewald along with the Coronation Ball Committee would like to encourage your organization or group to nominate your dedicated volunteers for King Pithla and/or Queen Chasco.

The King and Queen are chosen for their dedication and commitment to our community.  Each year nominations are submitted from various community groups and not-for-profit organizations as a way of recognizing these outstanding volunteers.  The King and Queen are chosen by independent judges that review the nominee questionnaire and statistically rate their contributions to the community.

Nominations for 2013 King Pithla and Queen Chasco are now being accepted until February 22, 2013.  Please email nominations to Sylvia Stinson-Perez at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Nominees are highly encouraged to attend the Coronation Ball.  They will be recognized for their outstanding service to the community as well as enjoy a true evening of elegance.    Tickets are $100 per person.  Net proceeds from this event assist the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind in continuing the organization’s mission. The Lighthouse provides persons who are visually impaired the skills needed to achieve their maximum independence.  Since the Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization and unable to assist nominees with the purchase of tickets, we encourage the nominating organizations and groups to sponsor nominees.
